The ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ยฎ๏ธ Method is movement practice that focuses on the expansion of the body. Through this method, the muscles and fascia (aka connective tissue) work through the eccentric contractions of the body to expand what your bodiesโ capabilities currently are. This practice is like a mixture of dance, yoga, martial art and breath work. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ยฎ๏ธ helps to lengthen and decompress areas in the spine and joints. People often leave feeling taller, lighter and more balanced. It is incredibly effective at postural alignment and releasing tension in the body. It uses equipment to help you maximize your results.

Pilates is a method that helps you connect to your core. There are many different types of Pilates. I teach contemporary Pilates, with creative additions that Iโve acquired through various self-exploration, workshops and mobility research. Although my training is in STOTT Pilates, and I have thorough knowledge in STOTT ideologies, I incorporate movement and play with my teaching. I believe in utilizing spherical and circular movement, challenging the traditional linear approach, when teaching pilates. Some bodies may prefer the linear approach, and I am able to teach that as well. I mainly utilize the reformer when working with people, however I can teach the Stability Chair and the Cadillac aka The Trapeze table as well. Pilates can also be taught on the mat with no equipment.

I use my own personal experiences of Embodiment Retreats, Yoga, Breath work, Rolfing, Somatic therapy, ZENGA, African Dance, Ballet, Modern Dance, Performance Art, Jazz, Aerial and Energy work to help people find movement that works for them.
